Founded by a seasoned engineer with 15 years of experience in blasting/surface preparation and coating application, Yacht Daddy's vision is to introduce cutting edge techniques, rooted in deep technical knowledge and experience, to the marine maintenance sector.

Growing up in South Florida, Chad Ashman developed a deep passion for fishing and diving, laying the foundation for his career in maritime services.

Holding degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Louisiana State University (LSU), his professional journey includes process engineering for Exxon, technical sales for GE, a decade as president and owner of Electrical-Mechanical Solutions Group, an oilfield service company focusing on offshore clients in the Gulf of Mexico, and the founding of Terra-Tech, a manufacturer of wet abrasive blasting machinery based on Chad's patented design.

With a proven track record managing multi-million dollar projects for multi-national organizations, Chad excels at planning, organizing and delivering value to his customers. His diverse professional background and experience uniquely position him as an innovator in the yacht maintenance industry.
